FAQ
It depends on where your child is starting, their target score, how much time they have before test day, and how many sessions per week they need. There’s no one-size-fits-all price-you’ll get an exact amount on the call based on the level of support your child needs.

There’s no hidden catch, but there are a few conditions we’ll explain on the call. Your child has to attend every scheduled session, complete the daily practice, and take the official test dates we agree on together. Before you pay anything, we’ll put their target score and the full guarantee terms in writing.

Absolutely. Many top schools now require the SAT or ACT again, and even at test-optional schools, a strong score can still strengthen an application. SAT scores can also matter for merit scholarships, with some programs using specific score thresholds. A strong SAT score can still open doors — both for admissions and scholarships.

It depends on where your child is starting and how consistently they’re willing to put in the work. On the strategy call, we’ll look at their current score, how much time they have before test day, how many sessions per week make sense, and how much time they can realistically commit outside of class. From there, we’ll give you a realistic score-improvement target.

We make the SAT feel familiar before test day. Your child practices real SAT questions under timed conditions, learns simple techniques like breathing, positive self-talk, and how to respond when a hard question shows up. Our tutors also share what helped them handle the pressure themselves, so your child gets guidance from someone who’s actually been through it.

We understand that most parents are worried about adding even more to an already busy schedule. That’s why our program is designed to get results efficiently — not by piling on hours of busy work. We typically recommend three 1-hour sessions per week, about 30 minutes of focused practice each day, plus 1–2 timed practice tests or sections each week. The goal is to spend less time on generic prep and more time on the strategies and weaknesses that can actually move their score. Instead of spending 15–20 hours a week doing unfocused SAT prep, your child gets a targeted plan that still leaves room for school, extracurriculars, friends, and everything else they care about. We focus on high-impact work, not more work.

A tutor who has scored 1500+ on the SAT and knows how to teach it, not just take it. You’ll know who it is before you start, and it’s the same tutor every session.

Usually, the problem isn’t effort — it’s a generic plan. Same lessons for every student, different tutors, and little tracking of what’s actually costing your child points. With us, your child works with the same tutor every session, someone closer to their age who has scored 1500+ and can communicate in a way that feels more relatable. Their plan is built around their own strengths and weaknesses, then adjusted regularly based on their actual performance. It’s not more tutoring — it’s more personalized, relatable tutoring.

Absolutely — they’re useful resources. But they’re still self-guided and fairly general. We make prep more efficient by identifying exactly where your child is losing points, focusing their time on the highest-impact areas, and teaching SAT-specific strategies and test-taking techniques that free resources may not cover in the same personalized way. You’re not paying for more practice — you’re paying for a smarter plan, better strategies, feedback, and accountability.

It’s more common than you’d think, and it’s usually because prep feels endless with no clear finish line. A tutor they know, a clear target and a short daily plan make progress visible week to week. If your child isn’t on board yet, tell us on the call and we’ll be straight with you about timing.

That’s more common than you might think. Often, students lose motivation because SAT prep feels endless, repetitive, and disconnected from a clear goal. We give your child a clear score target, a simple weekly plan, and a consistent tutor they can build a relationship with, so progress feels more visible and manageable. As they start seeing improvement, motivation usually becomes easier to maintain. If your child really isn’t ready to commit yet, tell us on the call. We’ll be upfront about whether now is the right time to start.

Yes. We track every session and practice test, and you’ll receive a weekly progress report showing how your child is doing, where they’re improving, and what still needs work. We also review the overall plan with you regularly, so you always know where their score stands and what we’re focusing on next.

Yes. Every session is 1:1 over video, so there’s no driving and your child keeps the same tutor wherever you live. The SAT itself is now taken on a laptop or tablet, so practicing on a screen is closer to test day than working through a paper book.
